Remington 5 (1937)
From the Ocean View Typewriters collection, this 1937 Remington 5 has Elite typeface and features original colour-coded key legends for learning touch typing. The typewriter is in great mechanical condition. The paint shows some wear and tear and has some paint chips on the back of the machine, but the decals are bright. New feet have been installed.
The typewriter comes with its original carrying case in good condition (solid construction but shows wear and tear) and a printout of the user's manual.
All Ocean View typewriters are disassembled as part of the servicing process. The machines are repaired, chemically cleaned inside and out, adjusted, oiled, polished, and waxed, and have a new ribbon installed. View our How We Service Typewriters page for details on our servicing process.
