Typewriter Pad
A typewriter pad is a necessity for any typewriter. Pads provide sound dampening, protect the typing surface, prevent the typewriter from moving, and reduce vibration and wear on the typewriter. While a variety of pads can be used, such as ones cut from yoga mats, hard foam, hard rubber, and floor mats, our favourite pad material is a wool ironing pad with a grip pad underneath. Wool ironing pads with a grip pad are resilient and offer the perfect combination of noise dampening, springiness, and grip.
